Father to Son
A 16 year old boy went to his father wanting to know what he could do to be worthy of getting his first car.
Dad said. "Well son, I've actually been thinking about this and there are a few things. First of all you should be getting at least straight Bs on your report card, and then perhaps it would be good if you were reading the bible more. And then a haircut. I think you need a haircut."
Son said "Ok Dad. I'll see what I can do."
A few months passed and the son went to his Dad and asked "what do you think Dad?"
Dad said. "Well, son. You've been getting pretty good marks and a couple of A's too and that is great! And I have been seeing you read the bible. Not every day but a couple of times a week and thats great too. But you know, you haven't gotten a haircut. Why is that son?"
Son said " Well, Dad, I've been reading the bible and you know all those guys like Moses, and Samson and Jesus, they all had long hair so I figured if they had long hair it really must be OK"
Dad said "Yes, son that is true. They all had long hair and they were pretty good guys, but did you notice that they were all walking?"
