Question Bradycardia

My heart rate during the day is in range from 46 to 55 with blood pressure around 110/55. There are some indications that I have Marfan syndrome. I am female, 46 years old, overweight, 180 cm tall, 92 kg. Never into sports if you dont count watching TV and reading books sport, currently have osteoarthritis, IBS, and still can do too much with my joints that others cant do without a lot of preparation. I am using fish oil, vitamin D, Milk Thistle and Natrol Promensil.

Do I have bradycardia, and if I have it what I can do about it and what to expect from it? What it looks like to die from it?

Thanks for reading.

Please do some research on selenium. It is good for regulating heart rate, and has many other beneficial properties. I suggest you tailor your search as: "health benefits of selenium".

Have these symptoms of Bradycardia come on since you started taking the Milk Thistle and Promensil together? Taking both can cause interactions which affect estrogen which in turn can affect heart rate.

https://www.livestrong.com/article/52...aken-together/

If the condition is longer standing then you should have your Potassium levels and Thyroid gland checked first as these can create slow heartbeats.

Bradycardia is usually diagnosed when heart rate is below 60 beats/min and is usually caused caused by:

Sick sinus syndrome: Sick sinus syndrome occurs when the diseased electrical system of the heart cannot generate signals fast enough to maintain a normal heart rate.

or

Heart block: Heart block occurs when the specialized tissues that transmit electrical current in the heart are damaged by heart attacks, degeneration from atherosclerosis, and medications. Heart block prevents some or all of the electrical signals from reaching parts of the heart, and this prevents the heart from contracting as well as it otherwise would.

If you have Marfans your heart could also have valve problems as well as heart tissue irregularities. I think you need to have an EKG test and checked out by a doctor if you havent already been checked out.

Could be you are active and your heart rate is naturally that low. Could also be a form of heart block. In a case like this, better to go get an ekg.

almic, my hubby has the same problem as you, with low BP and heart beat, sinus Bradycardia, with arrhythmias as well, he takes all natural supplement's for it vitamins and minerals and fish oils, it helps but the cold weather seems to affect him, and he tires very easily,he was told by his Dr that he would need a pace maker for the arrhythmias, but he has decided that he would rather not have one now, after reading a bit about them.

My father has a pacemaker, the surgery is mild. Go in at 8 am and you will be with him at a restaurant by noon. I would at least try an increase in fish oils for a couple months first to see what happens, also make sure he is getting enough magnesium.

Hi almic, hubby has 3 fish oil with each meal, Natures Way.
2 Blackmores, Executive B stress, a day breakfast and lunch time.
and Blackmores total calcium ,magnesium and D3, 1 a day.
1 Ostelin D2 for calsium absorbtion.
His Dr cant give him anything for it, and told him to keep taking what he is taking.
And he also takes an asprin, against stroke which I wish he would find an alternative to, he finds this the best combination for him but he still gets arrhythmias,at times and most times during the night.
Oh and he makes some olive leaf extract every now and again, and takes that as well for building his immune system.
I live in Adelaide,I would love to see Perth though it looks a lovely city and is the only city we haven't seen in Australia, we would have to win the lotto first though, and I can't see that happening as we don't buy tickets

The cheapest house would be around $150,000 semi detached and about 50 years old, in South Aus. Average house price $500.000 again depends which suburb you live in
land rates $1,000 a year depends where you live up market areas probably $2.000.
water rates average $300 a quater, electicity $500 a quater Gas about the same, depends on how thrifty you are, we spend $120 on food per week, and then there is the emergency services levy around $100 a year.
Dog rego is $45 a year but cheaper if desexed
Car registration, $1,000 a year depending on the type of car.

Here a nice home is 150k, water and sewage 100-120 a month, electricity about 70 a month, natural gas in winter 120 a month, Car registration (depends on state) but here is like 80 a yr. 120 a week for food is pricey for 2 people.
