Default U.S. Attempting Global Censorship of GMO Food Labeling

Looks like CODEX are determined to stop any labelling of GMO foods so nobody can tell whether food is GMO or not.

Theres a link to a YOUTUBE video in the article about the dangers of GMO which has been censored by youtube and withdrawn "for terms of use violation"

Interesting.......

Looks like there is a determined campaign to push this legislation through.

(NaturalNews) I received an urgent alert from Jeffrey Smith today about a dangerous situation taking place right now at the international CODEX conference. The U.S. is attempting to push its agenda to censor all GMO labeling of foods everywhere around the world. This would result in a global GMO cover-up as consumers are left in the dark about whether their foods and grocery products are genetically modified or not.

Goes to fucking show you that the US govt cares about one thing: Corporations! Things like if the food is GMO and country of origin should be mandatory on the front label and in big letters.

Like I said: I will not retire here. No way, no how.

This problem is going to get worst. We import food from countries that have GMO crops. Many nations have refused to join the band wagon. Now, they are pressured to do so. They have slowly started to plant these crops.

There is no turning back the clock. Farmers who will not use the seeds, still wind up with GMO crops. There are fields near them that are growing GMO crops, so it winds up in their fields.

The greed factor favors these large corporations. The people they need are in their pocket.

I am on a short vacation in Bonaire NA. I lived here in 04 and there are 2 main grocery stores. I went to one to get dutch coffee, peanut butter and some other dutch stuff and freaked out. They are now basically a lousy american market. Very few dutch products. I went to the other one and they had a fair amount of dutch products. I was talking to dutch waitress this morning and she was telling me that the chicken on the island comes from the US and is crap. The beef here is great, but it is range fed in s. america.

Many countries do not want GMO foods, especially the europeans, but corporate interests are taking precindence. It does royally suck.
