I need to eat more oats, but I usually have toast and coffee and on weekends whole grain pancakes.

On weekdays I have a protein shake that has in it:
all natural Protein powder (means it really uses stevia)
flaxseed oil
frozen blueberries
banana
Psyillium seed husks

about an hour later I'm drinking about four cups of hot green tea.

On the weekends I was eating a lot of oatmeal, but a lot of times I'm eating eggs on the weekend. I drink green tea while eating breakfast during the weekend

I'm not big on breakfasts, but I do agree that it's important to eat something in the morning. I usually start with a cup of coffee, which sometimes contains a spoon of coconut oil. Then I'll at least have a banana and a glass of orange juice mixed either with spirulina or chlorella. On certain days I'll have a plain greek yogurt mixed with lemon juice and honey.

I like to have ceareal with a tablespoon of phsyllium husks on top and a desertspoon of honey and a good sprinkling of cinnamon on top of that, and before that I have two glasses of warm water, and a cup of african Rooi boss tea after breakfast.
Daughter inlaw said she has just started putting chia seeds on her breakfast and she said they are quite filling so I am going to give them a try when I buy some.

when i wake up i have about 50 oz of water. 10 mins later a green drink. 10 mins later a protein shake and maybe some fruit.

About an hour after that i have oatmeal with walnuts, fruit, and cinnamon, and 1-2 eggs. Then I have a raw honey/coconut oil concoction.

I just started eating chia seeds to. If you let them sit in water they make a gel. I mix water with cacao powder and stevia then put the chia seeds in. It makes a chocolate rice pudding type snack.

Typical breakfast. Two scramble eggs with a little cheese and sliced ham thrown in. Plus a glass of milk. For Variety I might substitute bacon or sausage.
Occasionally I might have a bowl of cereal.

That "gel" is a soluble fiber which binds bile acids and stops them from being absorbed and your liver cannot make extra cholesterol. probably a good thing.

I'm guessing you don't leave your house to go to work? Seems time consuming

I have oatmeal with cinnamon and whatever fruit I have on hand most mornings. Sometimes to change it up I eat some eggs. Every once in a while I have a green a salad for breakfast--is that strange?

Years ago when I gave up breakfast cereals I began to open my mind to eat soups and non-traditional type breakfasts. When I eat protein and veggies and coconut oil I feel really good. Nuts, seeds and yogurt is really good too.
