Default Dad listens to me, mom did not!

I kept telling my mom to take the 5000 IU Vitamin D capsules. She would take the 1000 unit ones and that was it. She gets back from the doctor yesterday and said Tony, you were right, My vitamin D is low and the doc gave her a script for those 50,000 unit D-2s. 1 X week. I now have her convinced to take a 5000 IU D3 daily along with that. The doctor also gave her a script and samples for a fosomax analog (something new). I think I have her convinced not to take that.

Stupid Doctors! D2 is not the same as D3 & for God's sake don't let her take the Fosamax! Did you
Google Fosamax for info on it?

It is something else but it is in the same drug class. It begins with an A and is new.

Also, I am happy she will be taking D3 5000 daily now.
