It was in 1979 I went to see Dr. Walt Stoll, a wholistic medical doctor. Considering where he was practicing(Kentucky) and the decade, he was a pioneer. The man saved my life. Here is a link to his message board. Although he no longer practices medicine, you can post a health problem to his board, and sometimes he will answer. He is getting up in years now so doesn't frequent the board as much as he used to.

Can you explain how Dr. Stoll saved your life? I'm assuming that you meant that he helped you to find true health/wellness and not that you were actually on death's door?

Harry, I was only 29 at the time but I had hit bottom with my health. Dr. Stoll diagnosed me with rheumatoid arthritis and I had severe depression and without his help I would have not made it emotionally. I didn't want to live anymore. Anyway, he gave me the tools for me to learn how to re-build my health. I learned about candida and leaky gut which are the root cause of auto-immune disorders. I would say I have about 85% good health now; however, I never have beat candida completely.

He's a brilliant man and was way ahead of his time.
