Default Toddler's Ear Turns Red and Hot

I have a 4 yr old boy who's ear sometimes turns pretty red and gets a little hot. Hot enough where it bothers him and he likes to put a little ice pack on it.

Right now only one of his ears turns red. Although sometimes when he gets real tired both turn red. Anyone know what causes this?

Possibly stress. Some people have an overactive sympathetic nervous sytem. When noradrenalin is produced from being stressed in some way, it could be causing vasodilatation in his ear or ears.

Or it could be caused by food such as dairy.

It is probably a sign of his constitution and not really anything to worry about if he is not actively sick.

In homoepathy the remedy chamomilla will have one red cheek, ears may be red. These kids are peevish, irritable, and want to be held but will push you away at the same time. Wants things then rejects them. I used this remedy several times with one son. It cured his headbanging at age 2.5 Later it cured a cold or flu, not sure just what he had but one dose and it was gone in an hour.

For the sulphur constitution lips may be red, ears red. Flushs of heat occur frequently. They are stubborn, busy all the time, smart, independent, may be selfish.
They do not generally care if they are dirty and do not notice. Prone to skin issues, allergies,

The remedy Sulphur cured my son's diagnosed spinal scoliosis in the 7th grade along with allergy

Many things are possible with the correctly selected homeopathic remedy. Being friends with a great homeopath, I have heard of several cases of scoliosis cured, one case was in a middle aged woman, which blew my mind.

My son benefited from treatment that I gave him when I was studying.

Did you use chamomilla tea? What exactly did you give him?

Remedies must be selected individually. What worked for my son may or may not work for yours. If there are a lot of issues a trip to a well trained homeopath is worth his weight in gold.

He received a homeopathic preparation of chamomile in 30c potency. The tea won't do it.

Okay, just so that I'm completely clear on this, your son was CURED of scoliosis. The same side ways curvature of the spine that is not reversed with treatment, but wearing a brace that can prevent further curving kind of scoliosis?

When you say cured by using sulphur, do you mean his spine straightened back out?

You could see if the Ear thing is a reaction to dairy products. It is a bit of a reach, but dairy products sometimes produce ear infections in children.
