Default Foot pads for detoxifying!

Some of you may already know about these foot pads for detoxification. I found it interesting what they found after testing the pads in a lab for toxins!

BODY PURE FOOT PADS

Detoxify while you sleep!

BodyPure is a potent foot 'pad' designed to absorb toxins from your body. Developed from years of medical research in Japan, this natural health care product is effective in cleansing from the inside out.

BodyPure is the number one selling product in Japan in its class 12 years in a row!

The Japanese have been using this product to:
Combat fatigue, improve circulation, increase metabolism, enhance quality of sleep, absorption of body toxins and as a general practice to stay healthy and clean.

Our BodyPure pads are effective, made of 100% natural ingredients and easy to apply.

*How does BodyPure work?*

The ingredients in BodyPure use their natural power of absorption to "draw out" the toxins that are utilizing the existing channels of our body.

"This product is wonderful, I will enthusiastically recommend it to all of my patients." - Dr. Elizabeth Huntley, Precise Nutritional Care

Default Detox Foot Pads

Sally, I think some of us tried these a couple of years ago and saw little to no value in them. Maybe American's feet are too big for them to work right!

I seem to recall reading somewhere that one of the magic ingredients in these foot pads was iron. Thus the change in color was from the sweat from your feet causing the iron to rust.
This was tested by lightly sprinkling some water on a pad and letting sit overnight on a table and sure enough by morning it showed that it had detoxified the table top.

I put some filtered water on one of my BodyPure pads, and it started to turn brown almost immediately, also had the same odor as when used on my feet

This was a good article on msnbc:
Kinoki foot pads: Sucking away toxins or just your money? - Does It Work? - msnbc.com

And this, from The Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine:
Study in the Effectiveness of Detoxification Foot Patches
Published in The Journal of Orthomolecular Medicine, Volume 20 Fourth Quarter, 2005 Number 4.

Abstract:
A small study of commercially available Detoxification Foot Patches was undertaken to determine if there is evidence of heavy metal detoxification after using the foot patches as instructed by the manufacturer.

Three foot patches were used in the experiment:
an unused “virgin” foot patch as a control, one that was used by Patient A who’s mineral status showed no heavy metal poisoning, and another used by Patient B, who’s mineral status showed contamination with several heavy metals.

Patient A’s and B’s mineral status was determined by Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis [HTMA] testing at Anamol Laboratories in Concorde, Ontario. Anamol Laboratories also did the mineral analysis of the foot patches.

Mineral analysis of these foot patches ascertained there was no evidence of any detoxification of heavy metals. More importantly, the experiment revealed the control foot patch contained toxic levels of six heavy metals. For this reason, employing them as a therapeutic method of detoxification may contribute to toxic exposures of heavy metals they are purposed to be detoxifying.
