Exclamation Inflation hitting Dollar Stores!

While at my nearby Dollar Store last weekend, 2 stockers were busy raising prices on everything in sight.
Anywhere from 5 cents, 10 cents to .25, depending on the item.
No doubt due to higher shipping cost/gas prices.
Also heard on TV NBC News last night that the reason for higher gas prices is due mainly because of the Dollar's
Value/now non-value.

This should surprise no one but of course many will be shocked at the new prices and demand to know why these greedy companies keep rising prices. As you pointed out what they fail to realize is that the value of an item has not change rather the purchasing value of their dollar has decreased.
But every time the FED prints a few trillion more dollars out of thin air to save the economy every dollar you already possess becomes just a little bit more worthless. As a result you have been effectively robbed of its purchasing power which is the goal.

If the average person were to print their own money it would be call counterfeiting and they would be arrested yet when the FED does it we are told they are doing it to control the economy.

There is major inflation right now, but the stupid american public is worried too much about sports, american idol, dancing with the stars etc. to notice. As long as they can get their booze (and in some cases reefer or pills) they are sedate.

Exclamation

I know what Kroger is charging now, Saved. That's why I shop there as little as possible. Only a few specials lately,
like blackberries for 2/$3.00, plus fresh leaf lettuce which I can't get at Aldi.
I can't handle head lettuce. Maybe cheese too.
Depends on Kroger's specials!
