Well, I don\'t think we\'ll be needing it here anytime soon... But yes it is an exciting technology.
\r\nSome suggestion that the Gulf Stream may have slowed down/altered course. Hence the crazy weather we\'ve been having here. (Severe drought this time last year, now heavy snow and a wet summer and winter in between) and the opposite you\'ve been experiencing.
\r\nCertainly the world\'s weather patterns seem to be wildly fluctuating all over. Innovative technologies would seem to be an urgent priority you would think. Wheter they could be modfied to be effective on a state or national scale remains to be seen, but I\'ve a feeling we will be needing some very clever solutions very soon.\r\n

\r\n \r\n I am very near the Gulf of Mexico, and it hasn\'t helped. Very mild winters in recent years. Very bad drought. I\'m pretty sure that we may have to depend upon these innovative ideas for more water in our near future. Although Texas has gone through droughts before, and found its way out of them with severe flooding. Never the less, water desalination may be a lucrative industry soon.\r\n
