Hey all,

I'm a new father and the baby is 9 days old.. I have noticed that she gets red blotches on her face...

Now, I was thinking, since she is only 9 days old, her skin is sensitive, so could it be allergies, or do you think maybe just the heat?

This is common to newborn babies.

Good to think it's nothing serious... My parents came from a medical background, so I know just enough to be scared poopless of red blotches... "Botchilism", "Chicken Pox", "Heat Stroke", "Fever", "Rash", "Allergy", "Measles" and a whole other nasty assortment of other ailments I won't mention here to help from making other people freak out :/

She's healthy and everything looks fine now...
