This talk show host on the radio was saying that he and his wife have been going to a very good pediatrician with their 2 children for years. Recently they were told that the children must have ALL required vaccinations, or they could no longer be seen by any doctors in their facility...new policy.

The host said that they weren't against all vaccines, but his wife was uncertain about the safety of some, and wanted to consider first. The doctor said that he didn't care who gave the kids their shots, but they needed all of them that were expected on the vaccination schedule.

Well, although they (and the children) really liked the doctor, they said that they would not be forced to give their kids any medicines or treatments that they weren't comfortable with. They decided to use another pediatrician...good for them!

We should have this doctors name so we can reveal him. Why do people who make such reports leave out such essential information? It is not protected information and communites should know how their doctors prescribe... it should be public info.

I'm an adult and was given a vaccine without my knowledge or consent, the doctor was practicing through a Dean Care facility. I gave permission to receive tetanus ONLY, the nurse informed me AFTER giving me the shot that she also gave me Whooping Cough...

I feel silly now because I was so surprised and caught off guard in the moment that I didn't say anything. Wish I would have at the least railed the woman and at the most threatened a lawsuit for non-consensual medical treatment.

So, I would say even if you are giving permission for a certain vaccine, I would be wary that they are not giving you others at the same time without telling you.

I had a similar experience. I was having a rare doctors visit a few years ago, and he mentioned tetanus, and that I should get a booster. Seemed simple enough, so I said okay.

Well, it's not like me to ask too many questions, but when the nurse came in with the needle, I asked her to confirm what the shot was for. I knew there were many mistakes made by doctors and in hospitals. When she said tetanus "AND" whooping cough, I quickly declined and refused the shot. She gave me some info in a booklet about it, hoping I would reconsider at another time. Well, after seeing what was in the vaccine, I was happy I said No. The older I get, the less trusting I am of the vaccine agenda.
