\r\n \r\n I went to ER yesterday. Unable to eat for five days or so,
\ngallbladder pain. I just wanted to make sure there is no
\ninfection. Tests are normal. Scan is scheduled for 16 December
\nmay be brought forward.

\nIt may be that there is a gallstone blocked in the bile duct.
\n
\nI would be grateful if anyone could share info on the following:

\n1. Prevent infection
\n
\n2. Prevent jaundice (would that mean eating foods to stimulate
\n bile production?) Intolerant to milk thistle.
\n
\n3. Stool has been pale yellow for a few months now
\n
\n4. Various ways of softening stones & facilitate excretion
\n (read about lemon, am allergic, but able to drink dry whole
\n lemons in hot water and Epsom salts, may be allergic to that too).
\n
\nI am seeing an Ayurvedic practitioner on Saturday. Another sent me some remedies, which I am finding difficult to tolerate.
\n
\nIt would be devastating to undergo surgery, I can\'t tolerate anesthetics and metabolize most drugs.
\n
\nMeanwhile, I have only been able to eat home made porridge with boiled apples, and even that causes pain for about ten minutes after eating. Three times since last Friday including today. I am also able to tolerate sea buchthorn, which I am sucking on. I may use these to make teas, and order the oil.
\n

\r\n \r\n I went over a year with attacks looking for a surgeon that would not cut my middle open and close with staples. This was before laparoscopic was done. I was managed with generic belladonna.

\nThere was NO information on alternative measures back then. It was IMPERATIVE that the offending organ be removed ASAP for my life depended on it. Or so I was told.

\nI no longer have a gallbladder. I was having issues with digestion for a time following the surgery.

You are likely one of those people who need bile supplements after surgery. Not all people do but some do. Standard process makes a bile supplement to be taken with meals. It can greatly help.\r\n

Thanks for the link. I will try various type of magnesium, preferably in liquid form, from natural sources. Hope I can tolerate. I also found out about sea buckthorn, which I am eating daily. Will look up lecithin.\r\n

\r\n \r\n Good point, am not sure why the stool is pale yellow, and no consistency.
\nAtlhough, there have been occasions when its been black and tarry, or
\nrabbit like. As usual, doctors are unconcerned, and don\'t know!! I did have
\nhigh liver enzymes at one point, fluctuating, and little raise in bilirubin. But then,
\nmy liver enzymes have been fluctuating every since I was poisoned and suffered
\nserious toxicity from two prescribed meds in 1997. Learned my less and stay away
\nfrom meds since!!\r\n

Default Gallstones - Serious
I went to ER yesterday. Unable to eat for five days or so,
gallbladder pain. I just wanted to make sure there is no
infection. Tests are normal. Scan is scheduled for 16 December
may be brought forward.

It may be that there is a gallstone blocked in the bile duct.

I would be grateful if anyone could share info on the following:

1. Prevent infection

2. Prevent jaundice (would that mean eating foods to stimulate
bile production?) Intolerant to milk thistle.

3. Stool has been pale yellow for a few months now

4. Various ways of softening stones & facilitate excretion
(read about lemon, am allergic, but able to drink dry whole
lemons in hot water and Epsom salts, may be allergic to that too).

I am seeing an Ayurvedic practitioner on Saturday. Another sent me some remedies, which I am finding difficult to tolerate.

It would be devastating to undergo surgery, I can't tolerate anesthetics and metabolize most drugs.

Meanwhile, I have only been able to eat home made porridge with boiled apples, and even that causes pain for about ten minutes after eating. Three times since last Friday including today. I am also able to tolerate sea buchthorn, which I am sucking on. I may use these to make teas, and order the oil.
