Default Dandruff

So I have got this problem of dandruff for last 6, 7 years or so. I never went to a doctor for this problem, which is of course really bad. You can say it was my sluggishness or whatever. Coming back to the issue, my dandruff is always there in my head, 365 days a year. However, the problem gets worsen during the winter months. I have occasionally tried 2 or 3 medicated shampoos but they made no difference to my dandruff. But let me admit that while I was using such shampoos, I was never ever regular with them.
Does anyone here has got any home remedies or suggestions regarding what should I do to deal with this problem?
I am really looking forward to your suggestions/advice.
Thanks so much in advance.

When I started taking Krill Oil, my own dandruff was reduced noticeably.
Eating coconut oil may help also.

It is drier in the winter, so it does get worse for that reason. The trick is to resolve it from the inside out.

Dandruff is caused by yeast, so you could try taking some natural anti-fungals such as colloidal silver, grapefruit seed extract, aloe vera, oil of oregano, coconut oil (as suggested), olive oil, selenium, and zinc.

You could also use the silver, coconut oil, olive oil, and aloe vera topically as well. The longer you can leave it on the scalp the better the treatment.

I take a spoonful of coconut oil with my supplements as many need fat to absorb.

You can take three or more spoonfuls a day, but one with each meal is more practical.

Krill oil is similar to fish oil. It is generally taken to get the necessary Omega 3 fatty acids.
