Default The Flu

I cant believe this...

On monday i woke up in the morning feeling a little weak, went to work in the afternoon at 6 and when i finished at 2o clock the next morning i came home and fell into bed straight away, something i dont ever do i always sit on the computer for a couple hours after work before sleeping, anyway i thought to myself im just very tired...

On Tuesday the same thing happened more or less, i thought about it again but wasnt worried especially...

Wednesday i started feeling minor headaches that come and go, i had coughing and overally i felt like i might get sick, you know that feeling...

Yesterday on Thursday it happened, i woke up in the morning aroun 11 feeling weak and red eyed, but could still function...At 6 in the afternoon i went to work and then it started, i mean i was dying last night headaches, cold/hot feeling, weakness in ALL my muscles i mean i could literally feel every muscle in my body being weak like it couldnt support my weight, i was coughing up stuff, overally i felt like i was gonna die and i asked to leave work but they told me no, so i tried for an hour and a half to stay because i need this job and the money, but in the end i just went to the manager and said im leaving, if you dont want me to come to work again its fine, but i cant take it anymore imma faint or puke in the end i have to go...I had noticed the only thing to relieve me of my pains was to sit down, so i knew all i could do at that point was come home and lay down and sleep, and so i did...I thought to myself id rather give up some money then sit at work and kill myself, i mean my body was sending me a clear message it wants to sleep, to repair to feel better...

So anyway i slept all night, havent smoked since yesterday, and today im feeling a little better, but i still cough up stuff if i push myself to cough, and i still feel a general awkwardness like it could go either way, im still feeling the cold/hot feeling, and im staying in bed...scared to go out because i feel that if i go out im just going to end up like i was yesterday...

Anyway i've increaced my dose of vitamin c, keeping myself hydrated, resting.

All this symptoms i described, i know it was serious last night if i hadnt came home and slept id have surely fainted or puked or something eventually, or maybe even something more serious..

Do the symptoms i described sound like i have the flu? because im not sure what exactly i have all i know is the sick feeling started very lightly since monday in the sense of feeling tired,fatigue...Tuesday and Wednesday there was still fatigue and slowly the coughing and headaches came along, and yesterday Thursday weakness in all muscles and cold/hot feeling and everything combined literally put me to sleep, i was feeling like shit...

Dr. Andrew Weil has a great remedy: Nothing but green tea, water and vit C. No food for 24 hrs. (Plus, when you have the flu, you do not want to eat)

I always keep high strength Vitamin D3 at hand to use for STOSS THERAPY at the first hint of flu or a cold.
Details here

and Vitamin D Council Stoss Therapy 1,000 IU of vitamin D per pound of body weight every day for three days. For a 150 pound adult, that would be 150,000 IU (three capsules) a day for three days.
It's a short term treatment only and if you keep your 25(OH)D level optimal 5Ong/ml 125nmol/l or above you shouldn't need to as you'll not be so vulnerable to infection. But I've used it a couple of times over the years and it really does work fast and effectively. The only problem is you have to have the 50,000iu capsules at hand, ready for emergencies, so it's worth getting a few in just in case.
