\nI am trying to get hold of them but live in the UK and so far there seem to be no supplier there. At the moment I find that the mucus? seems to go down my throat all the time, or in my ears, but it makes no difference to

\r\n \r\n Yes the nasal polyps have returned over and over, and each time shrunk by steroids and then removed when the nose was operated on. there are no polyps now. the nose is constantly blocked as though there is super glue in my head at the top of the nose, my nostrills are fine (since the operation). It is very much as though someone had put a very tight peg at the top of my nose to stop air getting in and out. i can breath in easier than I can breath out.\r\n

\r\n \r\n It sounds to me as though you are allergic to something. Do you treat your pillows and other bedding for dust mites? Pillows should be left in the hot sun for several hours to sterilize them. The heat kills the dust mites. Or, pillows can be put in a dryer to accomplish killing the dust mites. Mattress should be vacuumed. Mattress pad and other bedding should be washed frequently. If there is carpet in the bedroom, it should be vacuumed often and steam cleaned from time to time.

\nThanks. But even when I am sitting in a room which has no carpet and no material, no plants, no dust, it is still the same. I sit in such a room a lot of the time when at work. Anyway my house has been the way it is for many years and the problem has started recently in comparison.\r\n

\r\n \r\n Hi everyone. Yes I am allergic to things, dust, pollen and many other things which it is impossible to control or escape from. But that would not explain how come I suddenly got this blocked nose where I could not breath at the age of 52 when I had not had it before. I am not very much overweight and did not get any of these symptoms before. The breathing through my mouth is 24 7 because even when I am up and about and walking my nose is very blocked, and when I sleep I sleep on my side. I just want relief from the blocked ears, being unable to breath in or out through my nose and my head feeling as though it is constantly bunged up. Very much like like having the flu all of the time. It has been a few years now and polyps have grown there and been removed by steroids about three times now.\r\n

\r\n \r\n Carmel I have heard that elderberry is very good for sinus problems, some one in a healthfood shop would be able to advise how to take.
\r\nMy dad used to suffer with nasal polyps and had a couple of operations for them, in the end he treated himself with acv sniffed through the nose, he said it shrunk them and made it easier for him to breath.\r\n

\r\n \r\n ACV is Apple Cider Vinegar-It can be used with hot water to create a steam inhalent and taken orally as well. Some other suggestions here that have worked for sufferers.

\r\nacv - apple cider vinegar helps with digestion. incomplete digestion of food can trigger breathing problems. the partially digested foods trigger allergy like symptoms that affect the nose/travel to the nasal passages. i call it allergy after eating.

\r\nI should know. I have no environmental or external allergies. My doctor calls it "internal allergy". I cannot breathe through my nose until 3 - 3.5 hours after eating. Infact i can breathe through my nose only when my stomach is empty. But in my case incomplete digestion is due to frequent inflammation of stomach lining & I am still looking into that. If you do not have any other GI tract problems ACV before/with meals should fix your inability to breathe through ur nose.\r\n

\r\n \r\n Thanks so much for that response. We do have different problems though. I have got used to my nose being blocked and I did invent a sort of solution which I tried over last few days and which does help which I would like to share with you in the hope it helps you too. But my main problem when I posted was my ears being blocked and my head too.
\nSince then I have managed to shift most of that so feel better there.
\nre nose - this is what helps me. I got some empty nose spray bottles.
\nI also got some pure organic olive leaf extract, which is often used for such things,and grapefruit seed extract and garlic oil and mix about 90% water with 10% of a mix of these and spray it right up inside my nose
\nevery day. The first time I did it a lot of horrible urgh came out. Now very litle comes out. But it is very quick, it does not hurt, it is so easy.
\nAnd it is far cheaper and more natural than many alternative things.

Hi there, I am new to this forum and very pleased to have found it today.
Hello to you all and Merry Christmas too...... I am a woman of 54 who is a bit overweight and does not eat the best of diets. For years I have had problems with my nose where it is constantly bunged up, as though someone has put superglue up at the top, it rarely runs or drips. Sometimes I have a bad headache with it, rarely a small cough or sore throat and lowering and hoarseness of voice. I grey polyps and used nasal steroids, steroid tablets, anti biotics etc given by the doctor so that sometimes symptoms were more bearable than others. They did an operation on my nose saying it was deviated septum, removing some lining in nose and removing polyps. I was quite good for a short while and then
the bunged up nose returned only now it also got my ears and both seemed to feel like they were full of water and half deaf, again headaches. For a while both ears were totally bunged up/blocked but the mucus removing capsules the doctor gave me eventually removed this - it took months. But nothing will shift the feeling of my nose being constantly blocked at the top.

I have tried a neti pot but cannot use it as my nose is so bunged up!
I use olbas oil but again my nose is so bunged up I cannot sniff it up.
I read about a formula of tablet you can get from Australia containing fenugreek, garlic, vitamin c and horseradish and other ideas like bromelian,
zinc, but would like other people's input before deciding what to get as cannot afford expensive mistakes. I read about the use of molecular silver but it looked very complicated and technical, I need something simple where I can just buy it and use it or take it! Thanks for your help.... Carmel
