\nIf it is not strep but a viral I would do vitamin c to bowel tolerance. The only way to know if you have strep or not is by taking a culture. Strep is one of the most painful types of sore throats, unless you are a strep carrier then it can be fairly mild... If strep is going around the neighborhood its best to get a culture to be sure.

\nI guess we\'ll take him to the redi clinic, and get him the rapid strep test and start the antibiotics if it comes back positive. He\'s at 103.8 fever right now. My wife gave him some motrin.
