I have had two significant back injuries this year... some weird karma I guess. Both caused a lot of pain. I took tramadol for one of them and it sent me to the hospital with visual field disturbances. they though I was having strokes!
This is a rub on that I found so incredibly helpful. Made the difference between sleeping and not sleeping and it is much better than the products you find in a pharmacy

good prices at this above site
and I would combine it with this:
https://www.drchristophers.com/ointments tment.html
and this page will tell you why but I would purchase at the top link at herbspro and now I see that www.iherb.com
carries it to. https://www.drchristophers.com/ointments tment.html
Dr Christophers stuff smells better than Bengay, and the cayenne will promote increased circulation.
That other product will stimulate healing of tissues. Check out the herbs in it! The Cayenne rub will facilitate carrying it deep into the joint, or you could use a little DMSO with it too.
We compared Christophers rub to an over the counter the other day. No comparison is heat and length of time the heat stayed
DH pulled something in his shoulder and pectorial muscle on the L side. Lots of pain and all projects have gone on hold. Range of motion limited with lots of facial distortions when attempted. I won't let him even carry a few splits to the woodstove. When he gets to moaning and groaning like this I can be sure it is pretty bad
His last shoulder injury took over a year to mend so I've been kinda freakin out because this house is scheduled to be built this summer, along with garden frames and a chicken coop and yesterday he started worrying about not being able to work for months, remembering his last shoulder injury.
As per his usual he would not let me touch it for the first few days then he finally allowed me to put on The Dr Christophers Cayenne Heat ointment. Then two days ago he allowed me to put the rub on, on the front side of his shoulder, cover it with a moist warm washcloth and apply a hot water bottle for 15 minute treatments, but this bottle does not need to be real hot, just good and warm. This provides MOISIT deep heat. We did this three times a day with positive results each time and last night we also did the backside of his shoulder and lower back because that was starting to ache too from walking bent over and favoring incorrect postures.
This morning things are greatly improved with increased range of motion and much less pain. He didn't even want to take ibuprofen but I made him take it anyway to try to keep the inflammation from returning if things are not well enough healed. We repeated this for several days with excellent results. Increased range of motion after each treatment.
If I had it I would have added the bone and tissue repair rub too, but as it is things are moving forward.
........this is several weeks later now and DH is fully healed. I have the Dr Christophers Bone and Tissue rub and I am experimenting with it on a small wound the back of my hand and the results are looking good. Also experimenting on an elbow with bursitis but nothing to report yet, it is early.
I am thinking now of making flax seed heat packs that are microwavable,,, I have no microwave though but figure my massage clients do so I will be experimenting more as time goes by.
