Default Nose swelling that stays?

Hi everyone, let me describe my situation below;

Around the second week of May this year, I accidentally suffered from a whack on my nose (the left side to be precise) at work. The nose got swollen pretty obviously and my nose has been croocked to the right ever since. The second day after my nose trauma, I got sick and shivered all night and I've had sinusitis since then too..

The doctor came and gave me some chemical stuff to "help the swelling", as I expected that didn't help the swelling go away and I went for a scan the following week at the hospital and the doctor there noted from the scan "no abnormal nose formation and it's certainly not broken, so give the swelling a couple of weeks it will go away and the nose will be straight again"

I expected that but alas.. till this day my nose is still pretty swollen and it stills is croocked to the right. It's been FIVE MONTHS already, so I'm getting a bit desperate, PLEASE ANY TIPS OF ANY NATURAL MEDICINE TO HELP THE SWELLING GO AWAY ????

P.s. I should note that "do rhinoplasty" is not an option for me cause I've done my research and read by people who went through it that it does not fix sinusitis and there is additional swelling from the operation and also the nose might be different than before, so no operation people.

Your nose was broken. Noses don't 'shift' like they are some kind of rubber novelty unit sold at the gag gift store. They are made of flesh, soft cartilages and flexible cartilages. Your cartilage was collapsed on one side and needs to be pushed back out. This is done from the inside, not by pushing on the other side until it collapses too.

The most painful part of getting it fixed will be the anesthetic they inject via needle up into your sinuses. been there, done that and glad I got it fixed.

If it was broken at work, your Worker's Comp insurance will pay to get it fixed. the longer you wait, the poorer the results will be getting it fixed.

thanks for your reply,

So did you also have your nose that shifted to a certain side at one point?
And you did not try any other option, only an operation?

Also, I read somewhere that after a whack, it can take months but eventually the swelling subsides..

I got my nose smacked at a BBQ two weeks ago. Playing keep-away ball with some nine year olds. Back of kids skull against the right side of my nose bridge. IT WAS LOUD!! Kid turned and asked, "Are you ok?" Yep, loud enough for a nine year old to take heed. No visible crush, thank god, but sore with very minor inflammation. It was sore for about four days. If I lightly push it right now, I can hear the gentlest 'tic' but there is no pain or inflammation. I'm guessing it will be 'tic free' in another five weeks.

I have had a history of inflammation and congestion all my life. Saline rinses helped, but it wasn't until I gave up wheat several years ago that I wake up breathing clearly.

Swelling went away in a week.
Left side was crushed in. Stupid doctor thought it was 'bent', pushed the right side a little, put a splint over it and said to let it heal. Five weeks later my nose looked the same; Crushed on the left side.
Fixing was a matter of re-breaking, ie, push from the inside to correct after it had been allowed five weeks for the cartilage to fuse crushed in.
Needless to say, I had very little respect for the doctor due to his incompetence.

Noses don't shift, they crush.

Think of a car that gets its fender dented in an accident. Big crush on the left fender. Sure, by comparison the right fender now sticks out further, but you don't fix the left fender by pushing in on the right fender. You MUST restore the left fender to it's position before the accident.
