Default DHEA Info needed

Please don't post unless you know what your talking about.

There seems to be a lot of misconceptions about DHEA on the interwebz.

I'm basically trying to.figure out if it is going to screw up my hormones or not.

A lot of people act like its basically an anabolic steroid, but I've read a lot of people saying its a natural hormone booster that won't shut down the testes production of testosterone, but that it will basically give your body what it needs to produce more IF YOUR BODY WANTS TO.MAKE MORE AND CANT one way or the other. I've read a lot on testosterone lately like how mens sperm counts have dropped more than 50% since 1930.

Its also apparently good for joint health and increases bone density. I'm a martial artist and this is very good news.

I've noticed a greatly increased libido, better mood, and some parts of the alternative medicine Community think that anxiety is caused by hormonal.imbalance, and my anxiety is basically gone at this point. Oh and my manhood is defidently a little bigger too I swear to god.

The thing is, I'm all set taking steroids... so I wanted some more opinions on DHEA on this to make sure that it isnt gonna screw up my hormones later on in life.

So i suppose my question is this: does dhea (safetly) PROMOTE your body to produce more testostetone, or does it force (ad in steroids) your body to make more.

I don't want to build up all this muscle to have it shrink once I stop dhea, if I were to do that.

Thanks

soaren

DHEA can help build muscle and help a little if you are testosterone deficient. If you are younger than 40, do not take more than 10 mgs a day. Take daily, at the same time for a month and see if it helps. If you are under 40 and take like 25-50mg, you will get pissed off so easily at anything

Here's the thing.

The oral bioavailabilty of DHEA is About 15%.

So by taking 100 mg/1 day I'm taking 15 mgs.

Also you didn't answer my question. =P

Read Dr Brownstiens book on natural hormones before you damage your body. The whole reason to take a supplement is to be healthier, RIGHT?
