Default Why not use Acerola for C source?

Just learning.

Acerola seems phenomenal, though, perhaps not in the "lime" light it once was.

What do you all think about using IT as my Vitamin C source? Anyone know of a good one that is Organic, 100% Acerola (even powder is fine), non-gmo, no fillers, preservatives, yada yada.

??

Help and thanks!

Mindy

Acerola C is very expensive. Stick with the ordinary C you can buy at the health food store. It will do the job for you.

I am planning to switch from Ester-C to Amla.

Searching for "Organic Acerola" on iHerb,
they have a few options, including "Nature's Way Alive!"
which has both Amla and Acerola, as well as Goji and Kiwi.

Not yet decided, but am still hoping to find a good Acerola resource.

Found an Acerola powder but don't understand the manufacturer's wording in the description.
Perhaps you can help.

Here's what they say about it:

"Our Synergized™ Acerola extract powder is certified organic and kosher and standardized to 20% all-natural vitamin C, one of the highest levels of 100% naturally occurring vitamin C available in any organic fruit powder. Our prized berries are grown near the rainforest in Brazil in NOP-certified organic orchards and processed in our proprietary facility located within minutes of the orchards."

This is the part that I do not understand. What does it mean?:
"100% Natural Vitamin C / Standardized to 20% Naturally Occurring Vitamin C"

Thanks all!
