Red face MMS and Candidiasis

Hi, I have been diagnosed with candidiasis. This has been a recurring problem for me. I have always been put on a course of antibiotics to cure this. I am now contemplating MMS. Has anyone had this similar problem and have tried MMS? What are the results like?

Putting you on antibiotics for candida is absolutely insane! Find another doctor right away!

Or did your doctor put you on an antifungal? There is a big difference you know.

Some people have had very good results with MMS for candida.

I would say that treatment may be required for 2 months at least.

Wendy,

I too have Candida, as well as active Colitis.

I have been taking the following:

Flagyl
Fluconazole
Doxycycline
Low Dose Naltrexone

I will be finishing the Fluconazole, and increasing the Flagyl from 1, 3x per day (Fri, Sat, Sun), to 1, 3x per day EVERY day.

I've stopped the doxycycline.

I'm continuing to take the LDN

I will be starting Nystatin, an antifungal, in a day or so.

I haven't taken MMS as of yet, but I've got it sitting in a drawer at home and am antsy to try it....although I'm not sure if I should...

you should definitely try the mms. compare the list of side effects of the drugs you are currently taking, with the list of possible side effects of mms. DO try the mms, just be sure you are clear on how to take it. take your time and do plenty of reading first. start off with very small doses.

Ketoconazole is an antifungal, not antibiotic.

JaCqUeSStRap, MMS has helped quite a few people with colitis and we have one guy here on the forum that got excellent results from MMS for crohns disease. He also uses low dose naltrexone, but I'm not sure that helps colitis. maybe.

Here is a protocol that is known to work for some people. It comes out of Germany. Most candida treatments will be time consuming, require lots of focus and cost money. There's just know way around it after watching people deal with this for the last 15 years, thats my conclusion.

I think that during the remove phase of this program the citracidal could be replaced with MMS. For some people their candida is resistant to citracidal, but it does work for many and certainly is worth the try if you don't want to do MMS.

Leaky Gut Syndrome

Part of the causes of leaky gut is from the use of antibiotics and steriods. These medications devastate the gut bacteria and cause larger than normal wholes in the wall of the intestines in which bacterias and undigested particlies, and antigens can migrate into the body and bloodstream. The most common outcome is allergies, inflamation, malnutrition and bacterial dysbiosis, hepatic stress. Candida is a normal flora in the gut but after too much antibiotic it can mutate to a dangerous form that damages t he gut wall.

There is a test that can be done for leaky gut if you can find a doctor willing to do it. The patient takes 5grams of lactulose and 5grams of mannitol. Theses sugars are normally not absorbed into the body or absorbed in very low levels. It the gut is leaky a large amt of these sugars can be found in the urine about 6 hours later.

If leaky gut is found then a program to heal the lining of the gut needs to be initiated. Diseases that this can lead to are irritable bowel syndrome, celiac disease, pancreatic insfficiency, hepatic dysfunction, exezema, psoriasis, uticaria, acne dermatitis herpeitiformis, infectous enterocolitis, RA, spodylarthropathies,
chronic fatique, food and chemical sensitivities, cancer, autism, CF, hyperactivity. (and in my opinion, much more than they list)

This information came from Dr Szallasi MD from his article posted in the International Journal of Integrated Medicine. It seems that this issue is well recognized and studied in Europe. I have had opportunity to ask several GI doctors here in the states over the past 10 years and none have heard of leaky gut syndrome!

Leaky Gut Treatment

taken from International Journal of Integrated Medicine
Alta Smit MD, MBBCH, MSHom

Most treatments take 3 to 4 months

detection: the test describes on the previous post with the 2 sugars or
a detailed questionaire if the test is not avaiable, detection of food intolerance, detection of bacterial growth from stool sample or vaginal swap that reveals bacterial or fungal overgroth

Treatment: remove, replace, reinoculate, repair.

REMOVE: Citricidal start with 2 drops 2xday. work up to 6 drops 2xday and Caprilic acid, (Ca prilex) 6 tabs a day.

all yeast and fermented foods eliminated for 3 months.

Severe cases may require a broad spectrum anti fungal like nysatin for 5 days or more. Also treat for parasites and other enteropathogens.

Avoid all foods that cause intolerance for 12 weeks. This will help calm down the senitized immune system. If tests for food tolerance are not available avoid the most common allergy producing foods, wheat, soy, dairy, refined sugar, additives, etc

alcohol, cafffeine and NSAIDS need to be avoided. Indomethacin is concentrated in the bile and creates a toxic bile that damages the mucosa of the bowel. Nabumetone is a safer chice and will not increase intestinal permeablity.

REPLACE:
Hydrochloric acid in pill form, or
L-histidine, an essental fatty acid of 500 mg bid.

enzymatic enzyme replacement with pancreatic enzymes orpland derived proteases, amylases, lipases, and cellulases ( especially if there is malabsorption). Enzyme deficiency include prolonged feeling of bloating after meals, belching, undigested food particles in stool, diarrhea or loose stools

REINOCULATE:
friendly bacteria or probiotics. Do this after remove and replace.
add FOS to the probiotics

REPAIR:
Rice protien is least allergic and can provide a basis to diet.

L-glutamine 3,600mg per day during the initial phase
vits b5, C, E
Zinc, for tissue repair
Gamma Linoleic acid (GLA) this will helpdecrease permeability. 6 caps a day
Fiber, hypoallergenic insolubile fiber is best
Glutathione and N-acetyl cystine - because glutathione is poorly absorbed in the gut it should be given with with two of its building blocks, custeine andlysine.
Inulin - found from Jerusalem artichoke
Rice Bran Oil -
Mucosa Compositum from Heel Homeopathics will stimulate the healing of the gut lining. oral vials given 3 times a week on an empty stomach for two weeks.

NOW: a product called Ultra Clear developed by Heathcomm International Inc. combines all of the above except the Mucosa Compositum from Heel.

Homeopathy, acupuncture and ozone therapy can provide powerful adjuncts.

Other homeopathics from Heel that may assist:
Liver overload:
Nux vomica Homaccord
Hepeel

Gut repair:
Mucosa compostum

Pancreatic Support:
Leptandra compositum

Inflammation:
Traumeel

Detoxification:
BHI Body Pure

The Heel Homeopathics are essential for this program to work. You can purchase them here: https://www.iherb.com/Heel-BHI-A-to-Z?p=12&sr=0

For the Ultra clear I found a regional distributor: Metagenics 1-800-869-8100 that is for a Texas when I lived there. They could help you find someone in your area

Thank you so much for sharing this, Arrowwind!!

I have read some articles on MMS and how people suffering from skin candida have been cured. This is indeed a miracle in itelf, nothing less.

I have read that there are some side effects to taking MMS, such as lethargy and headache but I guess that is part and parcel of the toxic being purged from the system and creating a new system overhaul. No pain, no gain as they say.

Cheers!

Wendy, if you decide to do MMS please be sure to read up on it quite a bit. Don't do it willy nilly. Start low and go slow. Most side effects can be avoided and Jim Humble has found that frequent doses with less drops can be just as effective.

The above protocol lends to getting rid of the microbe and to actually heal the gut

i'm aboatbuilder and i've been using terrible chemicals most of my life[66 now], stuff like methyl ethyl ketone peroxide[MEK, polyester resin hardner], acetone, epoxy resins and hardners, marine paints and solvents, many toxic wood dust...the list is much too big to list here. i've had sinus problems since early in my career...i'm currently fighting candidias along with the sinus infection. just got turned on to MMS 2 weeks ago..started taking it i drop, then 2, then 3, up to 7 every 1 1/2 hour. at 7, i got sick and threw up..had diarreahea for a while, not bad[ i live in a 3rd world country so this is not new to me]. started back with 6 drops every 3 hours..been on this for 2 days. i'm using fresh squeezed pineapple juice to mask the taste. i have a constant mild headache and do not feel as myself..i've read, and i've been reading a lot, that ANY sugar will feed the yeast. soo, am i messing up using the pineapple juice? i'm on a no-sugar diet[for 2 weeks],no booze,no fruit[except the p/apple]no wheat, no anything i really like. i had the candidis infection 3 years ago and it almost killed me, got down to 115 lbs, but managed ,with the help of a naturpath in fl. to get back to health, but it took almost a year[using diet and supplements]. can i expect to rid myself of all this with mms? i'm sure i'm full of heavy metals. how long must i keep up the doses and at what dose do i maintain? how can i tell that i'm gaining on it. i've got a million questions but i'll wait til i get answers to these first.

Hi Raja and welcome to the forum.

I don't think that there any absolute answers to your questions. MMS is still experimental and I would venture to say that results will vary with each person as we are all treating different things.

All the chemicals you have taken may take some time to get out of your system. Be sure to drink lots of water and if you can do saunas that would be good too. I know for a fact that ozone saunas really help to detox chemicals out through the skin if you can find one around. I ended up purchasing my own.

Be sure to go to the stickies found at the begining of the MMS thread. There you will find different protocols for using it in case the one you are on becomes hard to handle.

You will just have to keep up with it. Always stay at a dosage just below what makes you feel sick. It is more important to stick with it that get so sick you have to stop. Also look into MMS 2 details are on Jim's site
www.Jimhumble.biz Some people are getting better effect using both together.

If it were me I would stick with the mms for about 1 month then take note of improvements or lack of improvements. If you still have a ways to go you might want to break for a week or so then resume. During your break you can always take two to 3 drops of unactived mms in your juice a few times a day. This will continue the cleanse but not at such a rapid pace at by that point is should not make you feel sick. It should keep you from slipping backwards, especially if you are having parasite issues, which with all those chemicals in you you might. Parasites seem to thrive in the imbalanced terrain that chemicals cause.

You will be interested in this testimonial that was recently posted here:

When you feel that you are all done with the mms look into Lugol's iodine supplementation. Iodine may help you to detox chemicals that perhaps the mms did not get to.

can you use other juices to mask the taste...i have a juicer and i've been using pineapple, but i'd like to use papaya, mango, tomato, carrot or any number of other that's available here in guatemala. i know not to use orange juice, but i don't know why. raja
