I think you could probably find one in a local health or natural foods store in your area. I never bought one, but I think that they sell them in Vitamin Cottage/Natural Grocers stores. I wonder if you can't get free shipping on one this week, 'cyber monday' and all.

I bought one at one of those import gift shops. I haven't seen them anywhere else. You're right. It is heavy. It also requires a special lamp bulb. It's the size of a night light bulb, but has to burn hotter and more wattage. The bulb doesn't seem to last very long. It has to be hot for the lamp to do its thing - ionization. If you just want the lovely orange ambiance, you can use one of those 7 watt night light bulbs.

We purchased ours online from solay - I believe? Replacement bulbs are purchased from Lowes/menards. We leave them on all day full light and at night turn them down.

Our bulbs seem to last.

The company also replaced our cord on one when the dimmer would not work.

I found seven (cannot recall the brand name right now) at Tuesday Morning (a store near here that offers deep discounts on household goods and clothing) for $20 each. I might just grab a couple.

I have an ornament made of himalayan salt that I kept in a dish, in winter when it was cold I found it sweated so much the dish half filled with water
I believe they also sweat in humid weather , something to keep an eye out for if you have a lamp and extreme weather conditions
