Thumbs up Great way to use Salba or Chia seeds!

I made some delicious hamburgers last night for dinner; looking for ways
to use Salba. This would work with Chia seeds too.
To 1 lb of grd chuck, I added chopped onions/garlic, 3 Tbsp of Ground Salba,
1/4 cup of curdled sour milk I didn't want to waste; mixed well and formed
into 3 large patties, fried them in a bit of olive oil. Really delicious! I used the
soured milk instead of an egg - to hold all together.
I think the Salba/Chia seeds would work well in meatloaf and meatballs too. I
think I'll try it when I make some Chile too - to thicken it.

Another thing I do with Salba is grind it in my coffee grinder, along with a
variaty of nuts - peanuts, almonds, walnuts, pecans. I add a tiny bit of
SeaSalt too. I always use peanuts and Salba, then choose a third from the
others. Then I just eat the mixture with a spoon out of the grinder.
Very tasty!
