Question HPV and Pap Test

In a typical pap test, do they check for the human papilloma virus?

Doctors normally do both Pap and HPV tests for women over 30 years old. Under 30 year olds usually only get the Pap test.

I went to a doctor with warts on my penis when i was 21 and all he did was give me a cream perscription, told me to use it for one week and come back then, took his money and i was on my way...

A week later i went back, no changes whatsoever in my condition, and the guy tells me ok stop using the cream, dont worry about it, go home, you can have sex no problem...and pay of course

Only then i Asked for a complete blood test for STD's, and it was done...Those tests showed i had Herpes antibodies, and since i had a few (big ones) outbreaks already for about two years before that, i just found out what those outbreaks were...
And imagine the first couple of times i had outbreaks before doing that blood test and finding out what those outbreaks were caused by, doctors never told me it is herpes or it might be herpes, i was always just given a liquid to wash with and that was it...

And im talking about doctors from 2 differend countries, because when i first lost my faith in doctors i remember the blame i put was mostly on the doctors in the country i live in being useless, thinking that the doctors from the country i was born in were much much better, i was wrong, dead wrong...

And only after going to the next doctor was i amazed when he told me the stuff on my penis were actually genital warts...So withing 2 days i find out i got 2 STD's and just a week before that i get into a relationship with the girl i loved like no other...

So the point of the story is, doctors wont offer anything or check for anything unless YOU ASK FOR IT... Dont expect them to do anything because of their good nature and good will...i so wanna spuke out a bunch of cuss words with caps on but i wont do that...

Don't EVER trust your doctor, that sht will kill your ass faster than a nuclear war!!!

no, they check for abnormal cells. you must ask for a hpv test. but if the pap comes back abnormal with cell growth that could be hpv, they will order an coloscopy biopsy that they take a sample from you then tell you if you have a strain of hpv, it is painful, very painful, so take pain pills if you need to get one, i've had 3 of them done in my life its not a walk in the park
