Default Tdap vaccine while pregnant

My wife is on her third trimester and she had a doctor's appointment today and her OBGYN as insisting that both my pregnant wife and I get the tdap vaccination for protect against the whooping cough.

He said it's very safe like a flu shot, but we decided against the flue shot during flu season, but not sure about this vaccine, since we really don't know too much about it.

Everything I've been reading seems like it's safe, but does anybody else have any opinions on if we should both get the vaccination?

NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Please don't get it. I made the mistake and got it! It knocked me down for 3 weeks in bed THEN has caused a chronic fatigue that I'm still hoping will go away. It has been 41/2 years. Not kidding. I had both the flu and Tdap at the same time not knowing there was any controversy in vaccines. I totally trusted the lovely doctor and I've been paying the price. I was in a fitness class the other night nearly in tears because I wanted to have my energetic, vibrant self back but I just don't have it. The day of the vaccines I took a 5 mile walk. I haven't walked that far ever since. And my doctor said it was to protect my baby - BS!

I'm so glad you posted the question. How's your wife doing? Is she eating nourishing brain food like whole eggs or krill oil for the baby?

That's what these doctors do...push vaccines. A few years ago, my doctor told me I should have a tetanus booster shot, since I hadn't had one in a long time.

Well, I agreed, and when the nurse came in with the needle, I asked again what the shot was for...Tdap. When she started mentioning whooping cough, etc. I refused the shot.

I personally will not take it. If I was pregnant, no way would I poison my baby. https://www.naturalnews.com/024575_va...thers_WHO.html

I was just reading somewhere that not all that many years ago if you were pregnant it was standard practice doctors would not give you a shot of any kind do to fear it might have an adverse effect on the baby.
Amazing what the passage of a little time and a lot of $ can do.

There is no such thing as "safe like a flu shot".

(If the doctor can't tell you the exact ingredients and amounts in the shot, he doesn't have a clue whats even in it.)
