Cold medicine made in europe from a south african herb. Available at whole foods and iherb.com Tastes sweet, I used the drops for my parents. It lessens the cold symptoms and duration.

It does seem to have similar properties to elderberry. At least as an anti-everything agent.

I tried a sample of 2 fast-acting softgels this morning, taken 3 hours apart. The product is Loviral, from Herbs, etc. It promotes respiratory health and stimulates expectoration.

It supports healthy sinuses, throat and lung tissues, and ensures healthy pulmonary inflammatory responses. It contains the roots of Lomatium, Pelargonium (umckaloabo) and Osha. Also includes elderberry, andrographis herb, boneset, honeysuckle, grindelia, elecampane root, echinacea and licorice root, elder flower, yarrow, lobelia...certified organic.

I had a bit of congestion from my hay fever, but I didn't get any results from taking this. It may not have been enough to get it to work, suggested use, take 1 softgel every two-three hours until lung health is restored. Just thought I'd mention this product if anyone wants to check it out.
