Default Bach Remedy? (Anxiety)

Anyone know or have any comments regarding this for anxiety? Stress? Nervousness?

I tried it on my dogs (liquid tincture). One was for anxiety in thunderstorms, and one was for the aftermath of epileptic seizures, no positive results were observed. I took the remainder myself on stressful days, or when having sleep problems, and I didn't see any results either. Everyone's different, but it hasn't worked for me, so I won't be buying it again.

There are other herbal options that you might try. Skullcap and Passionflower in the liquid tinctures may help with stress or anxiety. Taking magnesium and B-complex supplements is beneficial also.

You're very welcome Rodneydeeeee. I can personally recommend those two herbs, as they have worked for me. I take the mag and B vitamins on a daily basis whether stressed or not.

I took a mag suppliment for a while called NaturalCalm. It didn't seem to do a whole lot for me.

I was a bit excited to find the rescue remedy due to overwhelming good feedback. I really don't wanna waste money though..

Regular Magnesium supplements may work better than a combination remedy. There are some people that have had good results with the Bach, here's an older thread.

If you want to try Bach remedies search for a site that gives detailed info on them and a discription of each remedy... there are a number of these sites out there..

Most people use up to 5 or 6 remedies in one application, one bottle.

Some people are very sensitive to them and others not.

I have used the Rescue remedy many times with great success, and it was like a miracle with my cats as I took them cross country in a car, which cats hate. They were as calm as could be.

Rescue may or may not be helpful to your issue. Many of the remedies deal with various kinds of stress. You have to look at each remedy individually and see if it suits your individual problem.

Rodneydeee, after two years, my daughter will still tell you that the bach remedies are awesome!!! They took her completely out of a depression that she fought hard to get out of for quite a few years...she did come back from her second tour in Iraq, and was a changed person from when she left... She was and still is very impressed with the bach remedies... now granted, she was fortunate enough to find a chiro/massage therapist that was able to work with her and find just the right one for her... I agree with Arrow, do your research on which ones fit you where you are right now... and be prepared to change over the months. We believe they are worth their weight in gold!
