Awwww EarlyBird......you wouldn't want to kill this little guy would you??

Seriously though, that's a lot of snow to deal with! I know it can be draining both physically and mentally. We're lucky, we only got 3-4" here, and most of the stuff on the walkways has been melted off by the sun. Pretty mild winter for us. Soon we can enjoy springtime, and the nice warm .

It's snowing here again too.

Not again but STILL snowing here. We're up to 23+ inches for February already
and it's ONLY MID February! I noticed yesterday that on the 3 story buildings
across the way, there are icicles hanging from the gutters that are anywhere
from 3 ft to about 6 ft long. With luck, we may hit a balmy 32* come Sunday.

Very mild winter here too. I expected 5 weeks or so of 30 below and only got about 8 days of 20 below. I'm starting to see insects around, and tiny buds on the trees. People say its going to be an early spring. This past week we had the wood stove off for at least 8 hours a day, and it was still too warm in here. We need to do more ice fishing before its too late.

The daughter in Indiana says they are expecting another 12 inches of snow within the next few days on top of the close to twenty they have gotten within the past twothree weeks... She is really beginning to feel the cabin fever!!! I tried to warn her about moving up there, but she iddnt believe me!!! Im so sorry that you are going thru this Earlybird, if I could, I would gladly send you some of our sunshine!!! But, our temps have been colder then normal too... we are hitting into the thirtys at night and seem to be staying cold during the days.... not liking it at all, but still better then snow!!!!

Exclamation Groundhog!

The towns in Indiana involved in our Tri-state complex are Lawrenceburg and
Sunman; Not anyway near Indianapolis which is further north.
It sounds like her expectations of new amounts and current inches is similiar tho.

Yup, the Cabin Fever is bad. I had it so bad last Saturday that I decided to go to
the grocery in preparation for the next batch coming Sunday. All was fine until I
got out of my car in my parking spot. I thought I was seeing just wet blacktop
but I guess it was black ice; both feet flew out from under me and down I went,
hitting my tailbone, right hip, arm, shoulder and elbow. Luckily the son of one of
my neighbors was leaving our building and heard me yelling for someone to help me.
He had to lift me to my feet - I couldn't get any traction on the ice - and was kind
enuff to carry in my 4 bags of groceries too. My clothes were soaked as I had been crawling around in the snow looking for my keys. I'm still sore, especially my tailbone.
So tell your daughter to be careful if/when she does go out.

Oh my goodness, Im so sorry you got hurt!! Youve got a good neighbor tho, glad he was able to help you... One of my close friends has recently moved into a new neighborhood, and for some reason has been falling alot lately... this last time, she said she spent two hours on the floor before someone found her... I keep telling her that she needs to get one of those alarms, that you can call for help if you fall... hopefully this time she might listen to me... You be careful in all that nasty mess... take care of your self!
