Anyone see the opening ceremonies?

The special effects (pictures & lights) in the seating area were amazing.
Wasn't too keen on the National Health Care theme but whatever.

Made it home in time to see Sir Paul so I could do a 'Ouuuu' & BEATLE head shake

USA over Croatia.. 81-56

Came on strong in the 4th quarter once they got comfortable. Yay!!!

There are 4 channels showing different Olympic events, which is good for me today as I do chores.

But I can honestly say I could turn the TV off happy now that I've seen my favorite rider in the whole wide world compete in dressage.

Andrew Hoy. He's amazing (so is his wife actually) on a horse. So calm. Great hands. And so confident to enter an inexperienced 9 year old & still score a 41.7

Opening ceremony independent olympic athletes, they should have behaved better

We quite enjoyed the opening ceremony, and the lighting of the flame was brilliant.
I thought the Aussies could have behaved a bit better too
