What has Germany done to be on top of the totem pole?

Germany is one of the major financial players in Europe. Their banksters are the ones trying to hold the current system together by coming up with the money to try and pail out the other countries.

Well they are the most industrial. They have been threatening to return to the duchmark as they are sick of heaving the entire load.

So is this a remnent from pre WWII power families?

I believe so.
Many of the European ruling class seem to be related in one way or the other. The British royalty are supposedly of German descent.

The Germans have always been a thrifty people & known for being big savers.
My mother was 100% German as were both her parents & they could all squeeze a nickel until the
buffalo roared. LOL!
