Default Pain in left testicle

I have been having some pain in my left testicle, this seems to be the one others with epididymitis have complained about...never herd of this before some searching here, pretty positive I don't have a STD and never had, maybe a yeast infection, my girlfriend gets one occasionally but the last was way over a year ago and neither of us mess around...anyway I don't always feel the pain, sometimes it does not feel that bad, just a little discomfort and other times the pain feels like a hard brush up against something and sometimes higher in the abdomen, the only thing I have been doing lately is taking some "candida killers" and they are making a difference, my tongue coating is better and my dandruff is not as bad, overall feeling a little more energy...and then this...have I stirred up something? I have some cipro left over from my last MD assault.

If your feeling the pain during exercise it could be something else. if you think it's an STD, go see a doctor right away.

It's not a STD, I may have strained it, if it was constant pain I would go to a Dr. but it's not....I am over 50 and have pains pop up and sometimes just disappear, I try to avoid MD's as much as possible as they just want to give antibiotics and send me home or the reverse and do lot's of tests.

It could be a hundred things, which is why you should probably get a medical doctor's opinion. If it was doing exercising I could guess at the issue, but since it's not I have no clue.
I would see an urologist and it doesn't mean you have to take antibiotics or anything. I honestly don't think an urologist is going to give you antibiotics for testicle pain.

A few years ago I saw a urologist when I was having pain in my testicles and found out that when I was lifting weights really heavy that there was some leaking from my urine bladder that was causing the pain, which is very common. The doctor checked me out really well and simply recommended that I urinate right before exercising and what do you know, the pain went away and never had an issue again, since I urinate now before lifting weights.

I don't think it's fair to put all doctors into the same category as in they are all even. The way people stereo type car salesmen, Realtors...etc
You might be surprised to find that there's doctors out there that might actually care about your health.

I don't think all doctors are bad...just to fast to diagnose and do a lot of guessing...I know they have to...

And care...I don't know...if they really cared, they would probably get to wrapped up in their job and emotions would probably get in the way, I do understand that!

Cipro is one of the most dangerous antibiotics you can take. Look into it.
Some docs think it is a cause to at least some of the gulf war syndrome cases. They gave it to GIs to help protect them from Antrax

Cipro screwed up my life for two years with nerve damage, tendon damage, and lots of bad stuff. Around 50 side effects from that drug. I did recover completely but it took a while. Not everyone does either.

trimethoprim or doxycycline would be good choices.

Wow...never heard this before...
We have an alternative medicine MD in my area, I feel very lucky to have him here but he wanted me to be on cipro for a couple of months for what he said was an infection...after about 3 weeks I took my self off it, that's why I still have a bottle and a half more of it, goes to show...I don't think all docs are bad or such, but just keep hearing or reading about stuff that shouldn't be! That's the main reason I am here and not in his office.
