Default L Arginine?

I recently heard a radio commercial for a "natural" sounding product which claimed to reduce blood pressure and resolve ED. When I looked it up the main ingredient seems to be L Arginine which is apparently an amino acid. I have been trying to discover more about it: dosage, side effects, contraindications, etc. Has anyone else used it? My husband is on prescription BP meds which seem to have ED side effects. It would be great to find a supplement which solves both problems. Thanks for any input.

Here's a page that recommends using caution with blood pressure meds (click on interactions), and more on this amino acid.

L Arginine may help him. I've read on this before and I think that there are others here on the forum that may know specific dosages, which I think are fairly high... maybe something like 1000 mg twice a day or perhaps more...

Have you looked into garlic for blood pressure? a simple remedy that has lots of other benefits too.. do a search for garlic for blood pressure and lots of info will come up. Kyloric has been studied and seems to work, but I suppose how well will depend on the cuase of the blood pressure issues... actually there are many products to help blood pressure.

I wonder if niacin will help ED?
