Japan Suspends Some Imports of U.S. Wheat

WASHINGTON � Japan has suspended some imports of wheat from the United States after genetically engineered wheat was found on an Oregon farm.

Japan is one of the largest export markets for American wheat growers. Katsuhiro Saka, a counselor at the Japanese Embassy in Washington, said Thursday that Japan had canceled orders of western white wheat from the Pacific Northwest and also of some feed-grade wheat.

It would seem the only ones not concerned are our congressmen. they will not even pass laws saying that GMO foods must be so labeled. However they did recently pass a law saying that anyone claiming to be harmed by them cannot sue the company producing them.

We could just make all politicians eat GMO foods, suffer the consequences and solve a lot of problems.
Reality is, chemicals have totally altered our way of life and it is driven by money, lots of it. Greed has never produced anything good.
Perhaps the reaction by Russia and Japan, and they won't be the last; will begin changes to be made.
