Smile Never Drink Pop!

For years, I was hooked on CocaCola. Bad idea. The stuff is poison.

My youngest son, picking up on my disdain of soft drinks launched a website. I'm so proud of him (he's only 7).

Take a look and leave him a comment ... it would make his day:

I'm impressed. I hope your son continues with his blog. It will be good experience. I'm sure he will learn a lot. I suspect he is trying to appeal to the young crowd, as I suspect he is young himself.

Maybe his next feat would be to learn and share why the diet sodas are so bad as well. The neurotoxins they use as sugar substitutes.

Several years ago, my then teenage nephew, was somewhat obese. His classmates would make fun of him. The only thing he did to fix this was to stop drinking sodas. He drank only water and sugarless tea. Living in the southern USA was difficult, because the tea is really tea flavored sugar water. He did not even drink fruit juices, because he discovered that they contained high fructose corn syrup. Who'da thunk a sweet fruit drink would need more sweet. Anyway, he is healthy and normal weight now. It only took him a little more than a year.

thanks, JFH. Zach has plenty of misinformation there, but it's pretty cool (proud father here) that a 7-year-old wrote the copy by himself. You're right, I need to go in and help him clean it up, though ... and corn syrup is definitely a hazard.

I did not realize he is 7. Now, I really am impressed. I was not looking for misinformation either. I'm impressed that he is reaching out to improve the health of any who read.

He is right about 50 grams of sugar. Well, kind of. The "new" real sugar Dr Pepper has about 40 grams. There are about 4 grams of sugar in a teaspoon, so that Dr Pepper has 10 teaspoons. Gee. Imagine eating that much.
