12 years ago you could purchase wild caught salmon in Dallas Texas supermarkets for 1.50 to 3.00 a pound. Now it is 8.00 and up a pound with farm raised trailing at about 4 to 6.00 a pound. Of course price hikes are likely due to the masses understanding the benefits of salmon and particularly the benefits of wild caught salmon that farm raised do not have.

Prison planet reports that the biased FDA has approved genetic modification of farm raised salmon to be safe and the project is free to continue. What this is going to come down to is that any farm raised salmon in the not too distant future will be GM along with being dyed in color and sterilized. Just how they will sterilize these fish I could not find out.

It is predicted that with in 40 fish generations the whole wild fish population could be contaminated.

You should assume that all farm raised salmon will be GM in the next few years. Since no lableing is requried you have no choice but to assume.
