Default Best overall powdered supplement?

If you could only buy and use one or two powdered supplement(s), which would it be?...or which is your favorite(s)? Are there any you could actually live on for an extended time? My local MD who is actually pretty good but wants everyone to eat a raw, uncooked diet if you are health challenged says..."your cells are continually dying and being replaced and they can be replaced by a equal one or a inferior one and if you give you body correct nutrition, you can replace them with a kinda equal one and keep disease away and when we learn to replace them with a superior one, we will live many years, way beyond what we live now" ...so is there superior supplementation out there now?

Supplements are designed to work with a good diet, not in place of..

There are several good products on the market. My first choice would be a greens product, made from a combination of several raw concentrated powders from organic alfalfa, wheat grass, red beet, spirulina, apple fibre, chlorella, atlantic dulse, etc... and the second choice would be made from organic fruit and berry extracts, such as camu, acerola, mangosteen, goji, acai, billberry, grape seed, grapefruit seed, etc.

This would be my first choice greens product:

https://www.genuinehealth.com/greens.html

The Formula

Per 8.5g serving of greens+ Phosphatide complex (26% phosphatidyl choline from 97% oil-free lecithin)
In the brain, phosphatidyl choline is changed into actylcholine a compound essential for the transmission of messages from one nerve ending to another. In the intestinal tract, lecithin helps with the absorption of vitamins A and D, and other fat-soluble nutrients. In the bloodstream, lecithin may help prevent cholesterol and other fat from accumulating on the walls of the arteries.

2,171mgOrganic barley, alfalfa and wheat grass & red beet powders

Each of these three grasses contain high levels of chlorophyll. Chlorophyll is one of the finest blood builders and blood rejuvenators

Organic alfalfa is high in chlorophyll and is a well-documented colon cleanser, deodorizer and detoxifier. Alfalfa contains octacosanol, an energy extender, and is very alkalinizing.

Barley is highly alkaline, providing stamina and is rich in enzymes, especially superoxide dismutase (SOD). According to recent research, the life span of humans and many mammals is directly proportional to the SOD content in the heart, brain and liver. It also has a purifying effect that enables the body to eliminate toxins.

Wheat Grass contains only organic, field grown wheat grass sprouts that are generally free from the gluten and allergens found in mature wheat. The wheat grass powder made from these sprouts is a blood purifier and a cell-cleansing agent.

Red beet is organically grown whole red beet powder has been used to facilitate digestion as well as stimulate the kidneys and lymphatic system.

1,543mgSpirulina

Spirulina is the most nutrient-rich of any blue-green algae. It's known as a "whole" food, since each cell is a complete organism, containing most of the nutrients necessary to sustain more evolved life forms. It is a potent source of beta-carotene, with ten times the concentration found in carrots. It contains many enzymes - catalysts for chemical changes in the body. It is also a terrific source of essential fatty acids.

1,450mgApple fibre powder

Apple fibre helps to maintain intestinal balance. It cleanses the intestinal tract with its soluble and insoluble fibres.

1,033mgJapanese chlorella (cracked cell)

It is made up of 60% easily digested protein. It has nearly twice the protein of soy and 8 times that of rice, as well as an immense amount of chlorphyll. It contains over 20 different vitamins and minerals. Studies have found that chlorella helps detoxify the body of toxins.

383mgOrganic soy sprout powder

Soy sprouts are a source of many protective compounds such as superoxide dismutase (SOD); enzymes that protect the body from free radicals.

383mgOrganic whole brown rice powder

The combined fibres in our whole brown rice powder gently "sweep" the lining of the intestinal tract, helping to eliminate dietary toxins.

383mgStevia leaf powder

225mgEight non-dairy bacterial cultures containing Lactobacilli and bifidobacteria (2.5 billion per serving) in a special base of fructo-oligosaccharides (F.O.S.).

These beneficial lactobacilli restore the balance of microflora necessary for a healthy gastro-intestinal tract.

200mgRoyal jelly (5% 10-HDA)
Royal jelly is well known to support immune functions and increase energy. Royal jelly can decrease allergic reactions by its immune boosting effects, lower LDL cholesterol and has antihypertensive properties.

150mgBee pollen powder

Bee pollen contains high amounts of many different nutrients. It may help some people desensitize their allergic reactions to pollen. Bee pollen has also been shown to be high in antioxidant phenolic compounds such as flavonoids.

150mgStandardized herbal ingredients:Licorice root extract

standardized to 10% glycyrrhizin (5:1 = 580mg)
Licorice root has been used for several thousand years as an herbal transporter because it helps with absorption of other herbs. Licorice root also helps to prevent the depletion of the immune system often caused by stress. It does this by nourishing and helping to sustain proper adrenal functions. Licorice has antiviral properties and increases the antioxidant activity of the liver.

116mgAcerola berry juice powder

standardized to 18% Vitamin C
Acerola berries are the most potent natural source of vitamin C and bioflavonoids available.

115mgSiberian ginseng extract

standardized to 0.8% eleutherosides (28:1 = 1,680mg)
Ginseng has been used for centuries as an anti-fatigue, anti-stress herb. It is a powerful adaptogens that helps your body cope with stress.

60mgMilk thistle extract standardized to 80% silymarin (15:1 = 900mg)

Milk thistle contains bioflavonoids that encourage liver cells to increase their rate of regeneration, or self repair.

60mgOrganic Atlantic dulse powder

Dulse, (a purple-red seaweed), is a rich source of rare minerals otherwise difficult to find in today's diet.

33mgGinkgo biloba extract

standardized to 24% ginkgo flavonglycosides and 6% terpene lactones (50:1 = 1,000mg)
Ginkgo biloba extract enhances the body's utilization of oxygen and glucose and has a cleansing effect on the circulatory system.

20mgJapanese green tea extract

standardized to 90% polyphenols (20:1 = 300mg)
Japanese green tea assists digestion and the proliferation of 'friendly bacteria' in the intestines. It has become quite popular due to its antioxidant abilities, cholesterol lowering affects and may be protective against cardiovascular disease. More good news - green tea can increase metabolism and help promote weight loss.

15mgEuropean bilberry extract

standardized to 25% anthocyanidins (100:1 = 1,000mg)
The dried berries and the pigments derived from them may positively affect visual function, helping people who have normal myopia or near-sightedness.

10mgFull spectrum grape extract (natural process extraction) standardized to 95% procyanidolic value; 200ppm Resveratrol

Full spectrum grape extract contains all the protective ingredients of red wine that help diminish the signs of premature aging. Recent research at the University of Toronto found our exclusive Biovin™ full spectrum grape extract to be strong protection against free radicals. With the same benefits of a glass of red wine, Biovin™ protects against the signs of aging, plus a whole lot more.

I would consider an herbal complex like protandem. This article that Iggy helped me prepare tells how you can make your own at a fraction of the cost.

Claims like this will be true if you start out significanlty malnourished.

But the cost of this product! It does have RNA in it but you can supplement with that with a capsule. I use this and it has a higher ORAC that the product Rejuvenate.

https://www.iherb.com/Greens-World-De...der/14057?at=0

RNA here. I've read lots of great things about supplementing with RNA but I've never used it.

Living Fuel Ultimate Berry or Living Fuel Original is a powered supplement designed to be taken inside of a meal. You could live of of it. I've heard it is very good although have never tried it. its a little pricey, but considering it is a meal replacement, it equals out easily.

Vitamineral Green is probably one of the best I've heard of. i tried it and its great. Taste is totally awful, but then again, its greens (ocean and land greens plus algae). Super awesome stuff, worth the taste even in plain water which is how I took it.

Boku Superfood is another one that I want to try. It sounds incredibly potent.

Bee pollen. They sell it at HEB's here in texas for 5.25 for 3.25 ounces. that's a good price. I believe you could live off of bee pollen or replace a meal with it. Its packed with everything you need. All super absorbable. I believe they have successfully had animals live off of bee pollen alone.

This product has good ingredients, and in amounts that will benefit health, and if it is recommended by Mike Adams, you can bet he did his homework first.

Personally I would like it more if it didn't contain nutritional yeast, however that is my opinion.

Wow...Gary is proud of his stuff...I wonder if it's really worth it? Is it that nutritious or are you buying some name?

I found this site, the prices seem to be real good, if the products are what they say.

Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the reply's, The one I take is All-One, it seems a better value than these, but maybe it's not as good, I can't tell, I was hoping there were some alternatives to All-One for about the same price and then I would just switch each time.
