Default Good Place to Buy Cashews or Nuts?

I'm wanting to make something to bring with my lunch everyday instead of chips. I've been making spicy nuts (peanuts and cashews).

Cashews are expensive. Are there any good places to buy raw cashews online? Or other nuts?

I get my almonds from ebay, and Im sure you could probably get cashews too.... Or try bulkfoods.com... Ive posted the site before, we use to have a space for links, but apparently it went away.... but anyway check out their prices... Im thinking its time for me to do some shopping on there too... I make extreme cakes using lots of candy, and the candy store is really expensive... Need to find a cheaper place!!

This seems like a good place, especially for bulk. I get them raw or roasted or also salted. Reasonable variety. Dried fruits too.

This place does their own roasting so freshness is never an issue. The prices are the best I've found on the web, too . . . special bulk discount when you buy five pounds or more. They also sell dried fruits and trail mixes and ship orders over $25 for free.

George J. Howe Company

Try to resist the candy, though!

Local ethnic Indian super-markets have cheap nuts. Last I went they were $4.97 a pound(for semi-crushed, raw, unsalted) at one local to me. For comparison at nutsonline they charge $9.49:

I mostly get almonds and walnuts from costco, which seems to be cheaper than any other place I've seen. Anybody compare bulkfoods or ebay to costco?

I order so many things from ebay, but food products make me nervous. Especially when a lot of them are coming from certain countries.
