Default Positive TB test

Hi I have recently had a positive TB skin test. I was further tested, and I do not have the disease. I originally come from Russia, and I guess just about everyone is exposed to the virus there. I am being offered the antibiotic treatment anyway. But after some research, I've found out that the treatment does more harm then good. I have spoken with people whop have had the virus for over 20 years and have not had any problems. I have heard that the treatment actually causes cancer and does other harmful things to the body. I refuse to believe everything doctors say, and choose to dig deeper before putting harmful chemicals into my body. If anybody has any experience with this issue, or knows of any helpful websites- please let me know. Thank you so much in advance = )

Vitamin C (in optimal doses) is anti-viral/anti-bacterial, as is colloidal silver.

I would use both.

If you had the vaccination for tuberculosis you will test positive always. Most europeans get that vaccine and likely in Russia too. Do not take any antibiotics for you dont need them. I think that vaccine may be called the BCG. They dont give it in the USA routinely.

I think that a chest xray will determine if TB is present and you will likely run into this issue over and over if the skin TB test is required for employment.

Thank you for your response, Arrowwind09. This makes so much sense. I had the chest x ray, which I was told looked perfect. I actually just got a job at the hospital, and a nurse gave me a card to carry with me, which will exempt me from ever being tested again. Thank you. I will be researching the BCG vaccine!
