Default AIDS/HIV Complex disease and Ozone therapy

What ever AIDS is or is not they are curing it.

10 Years of LSU AIDS Therapy with Ozone and a Multimodal Treatment Program

Subject: AIDS
AIDS
After 10 years of clinical experience with 165 AIDS patients, H.E. Sartori, M.D., and H. Hugh Fudenberg, M.D., conclude that treatment with ozone and a multimodal program can produce a 95% success rate in terms of normalizing laboratory test results and the physical and mental well-being of patients. They call their AIDS treatment approach Life Science Universal (LSU) and it includes a 12-day ozone program (30-35 mg daily of ozone per 154 pounds of body weight, delivered intravenously), supplementation with vitamins, minerals, and herbs, psychological counseling, "reconditioning" (which involves a 12-step goal-setting program), internal energy exercises, and a mostly vegetarian diet with no dairy products. In an addition, they use 8 adjunctive therapies, such as homeopathy, Chinese herbs, acupuncture, coffee enemas, heat therapy, thymus extracts, and feedback control electrical stimulation (including ear acupuncture using electric currents), when needed. Of 119 patients for whom post-treatment laboratory results were available, 53 (45%) had their T4 immune cells return to normal; other key blood factors also became normal again. For another 46 patients (39%), their T-cell count increased by at least 200. Of 91 patients graded HIV-positive, 75% saw their conditions change to HIV-negative after completing the program. Most of the patients receiving this treatment "showed a significant improvement of their general well-being and of most of their clinical symptoms," state Drs. Sartori and Fudenberg.

Hard to say the timing on this study with retests for T4 resuragance. Ed McCabe says that if you test too eary you will not see a resurgance and may even see a decline in T4 cell because ozone will distroy the sick T4 cells. Therefore adequate time is necessary to resurgance of T4 from ozone therapy.

Is There a Role for Medical Ozone in the Treatment of HIV and Associated Infections?
DT: Sept. 1993
AU: Michael T. Carpendale and John Griffiss
SO: Rehabilitation Medicine and Research Services, Veterans Administration Medical Center, San Francisco, CA.
AB: Medical Ozone inactivates many pathogenic viruses including HIV in vitro. Pilot studies in man suggest positive benefits in the early stages of HIV infection (T-4 cells greater than 400). These include increased T4 and T8 cells, normalizing of T4:T8 ratio, and a general feeling of well- being and minimal evidence of infection. Improvement also occurs in AIDS patients (T4 cells less than 200) but less evidence of T4 cell resurgence. These studies indicate that at least in vitro there is a good safety margin between the ozone dose required to inactivate HIV and the earliest suggestion of suppression of lymphocytes. In fact, the lymphocytes are being stimulated at doses that completely inactivates HIV. More work needs to be done to clarify the most effective dosage and means of treating HIV infections with medical ozone.

Inactivation of HIV Type 1 by Ozone in Vitro
"Inactivation of HIV Type 1 by Ozone in Vitro"
- by J. Latino, K.H. Wells, J. Gavalchin, and B. J. Polesz.
excerpted from
"BLOOD, the Journal of the American Society of Hematology", Vol. 78, No.7, October 1, 1991:
"A device was designed to deliver a constant source of given concentration of ozone fluids containing Human Immunodeficiency Virus Type 1 (HIV-1). Ozone was found to inactivate HIV-1 in a dose-dependent manner. Greater than 11 log inactivation was achieved within 2 hours at a concentration of 1,200 ppm ozone. Similar concentrations of ozone had minimal effect on factor VIII activity in both plasma and immunoaffinity purified preparations of factor VIII treated for the same time period. The data indicate that the antiviral effects of ozone include viral particle disruption, reverse transcriptase inactivation, and/or a perturbation of the ability of the virus to bind to its receptor on target cells. Ozone treatment offers promise as a means to inactivate human retroviruses in human body fluids and blood product preparations."

Ozone May Inactivate HIV by Reducing gp120-CD4 Binding Affinity, Lysing the HIV Lipid Envelope, and Oxidizing the HIV Core

DT: Late 1993

AU: Oscar K.H. Hsu

SO: Department of Biochemistry, Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology, Harvard University, Cambridge, MA

AB: In vitro studies have demonstrated that the ozonation of human blood inactivates HIV. This paper describes a biochemical framework whereby ozone may inactivate HIV by attacking solvent accessible amino acids in the gp120 and ply-unsaturated fatty acids in the virus' lipid envelope. Ozone may reduce gp120-CD4 binding affinity by converting gp120's Trp-427 into kynurenine and dehydroxylating Tyr-435. These two amino acids form gp120's hydrophobic receptor for the CD4 Phe-43 ligand; oxidation of these two solvent- accessible amino acids probably alters the conformation of gp120's hydrophobic receptor substantially. Additionally, disruption of HIV membrane integrity by the ozone-lipid reaction products, hydrogen peroxide and lipid-derived aldehydes, could result in the oxidation of the HIV core by a host of pathways. This cascade of events, initiated by ozone, provides a plausible biochemical framework for the inactivation of HIV in human blood.

These are examples of very sick individuals who are obviously willing to risk other peoples lives with their crazy ideas and need to be locked up.

That way we can continue to help people with our tried and true methods of blood letting.
