\r\n \r\n If you have very active cancer, I would try AHCC to maybe slow it but would definitely add the arsenal other naturally based treatments. I have seen cancer spread very quickly and if you have had chemo at any time, you will seen an increase in mets everywhere in the body; many cross to the brain making it difficult to treat. Most things don\'t cross the blood brain barrier.
\nI think the AHCC worked for the mouse because the mouse did not contract cancer but was injected with cancer cells, these cells will react differently within the body host. If the mouse contracted cancer through chemicals,etc the cancer would be spreading and metastasizing differently. Treating the second type would be far more difficult. The injected cancer cells would be most likely like giving someone a life vaccine, the body reacts and builds up antibodies. Our immune system tries hard to battle cancer in us but quickly can weaken, chemo or radiation further breaks down our own defense line making it easy for cancer to spread.
