This shows another great reason to use ozone. Now, if only hospitals got on board... and vet clinics.

Municipal water should be ozonated rather than chlorinated. Adding chlorine to water is like adding a poison.

It is nice to see, however, that some dental people are starting to "get it".

I bought an ozone filter for my pool, which we havent hooked up yet... can I hook it up to a water supply and just use it for drinking water? would that give me the same effects as a smaller ozone machine?

The benefit of having ozone is to actually have ozone in the water as you use it. Althgouh it will purify many things out of water it will not purify all things. Its greatest benefit is to kill pathogens. It will break down pesticides and herbicides and some other chemical compounds.

It a swimming pool it must be constantly cycled on and off to keep the pathogens down.

For cleaning veggies it needs to be in the water at the time of use. For benefits in just drinking it it must also be in the water during use. The water for these uses should be ozonated for at least 15 minutes to get the concentration up enough to be effective.

So putting it on your home system would have very limited use, since I assume your water is already clean. Free standing it an ozonating water as needed for cleaning or drinking would be better probably

There is a growing group of doctors who are now using ozone in their practice. I have been to the man who developed these new techniques and teaches around the country and was quite impressed.


They are not working on regrowing teeth at this time.. To regrow teeth takes considerable effort and time... like months! So if you have a very large hole in a tooth you may not want to wait around.. I do not see it being fully practical in most cases.. but for some, certainly.
