\r\n \r\n I\'m 25 and overweight. I do have health anxiety, but I\'ve been able to get it under control most of the time. I went for a 3 miles walk today in the snow and my heart was beating insanely fast, I couldn\'t even tell how fast it was going. Took me a while to get out of the 100\'s. It\'s been several hours and my heart rate is in the 80\'s. Usually my heart rate is between 66 to 72. I want to keep exercising, but I don\'t know if this is a red flag, or I\'m just really out of shape. I probably haven\'t worked out like that for half a year. I also have benign PVC issues. Sometimes when I\'m working out it feels like my heart is flip flopping. I can\'t tell if it\'s my anxiety, or it\'s my heart beating abnormally. I\'ve also gained about 50 pounds in the past year from my anxiety medication (mostly from that) so I really want to get back into shape. I\'ve had 30 day heart monitor, all it picked up was some PVC\'s. I had a stress test and even though it took only minutes for my heart to get to 160, my doctor didn\'t seem concerned. I want to keep working out, but the fact that my heart stays a bit high after a workout makes me really worried. Please give me some insight. I just want to get healthy.\r\n

\nWe have an obesity problem here in England and you have the same a lot worse Stateside. Obesity can lead to diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease/stroke and cancer, but I\'m sure you don\'t need me to tell you that.
\n
\nAs for strenuous exercise for obese people, I think it is MADNESS. Exercise is essential for the maintainance of health and well-being, but for obese people it needs to be staged. Start with gentle exercise i.e. walking on the flat. As you get used to it, walk further, factor in walking uphill and so forth. Then maybe add another form of exercise, a sport of some sort maybe or light weights. Pushing yourself to exhaustion in combination with obesity, esp. chronic obesty, is too much for an already overworked heart...
\n
\nGo to a height & weight website and work out your ideal body weight for someone of your height. The overweight is - lbs/kgs? Imagine carrying a rucksack of that weight 24/7 and the strain it would place on your body. Of course, you already are doing that!
\n
\nSo many fad diets going around, but it\'s all really sleight of hand. Doesn\'t matter who you are or what you are, cut out junk food, sugar and added salt from your diet and you WILL lose weight.
\n
\nIrrespective of your moral stance (meat-eater or vegetarian/vegan), the diet should be centred on plant food. Fruit and vegetables, pulses and legumes, walnuts (fat but good fat) oats (slow release carbohydrate and a wonderful heart health food) etc.
\n

\r\n \r\n Although I agree with the suggestion to take magnesium from citrate and coconut water, I would also suggest 200mg per day Co Q10 for your heart, as well as cayenne for your circulation.

\nYou need to thin your blood naturally with vitamin E and C, and optimize your D3.

\nI would suggest taking a concentrated powder, such as beyond tangerine, which contains all 16 vitamins, 60 minerals, and 115 different fruits and vegetables, with an ORAC value of 5700 per serving, which is optimal considering most people get less than 1500 per day..\r\n

Default I need to advice on my heart rhythm please

I'm 25 and overweight. I do have health anxiety, but I've been able to get it under control most of the time. I went for a 3 miles walk today in the snow and my heart was beating insanely fast, I couldn't even tell how fast it was going. Took me a while to get out of the 100's. It's been several hours and my heart rate is in the 80's. Usually my heart rate is between 66 to 72. I want to keep exercising, but I don't know if this is a red flag, or I'm just really out of shape. I probably haven't worked out like that for half a year. I also have benign PVC issues. I've also gained about 50 pounds in the past year from my anxiety medication (mostly from that) so I really want to get back into shape. I've had 30 day heart monitor, all it picked up was some PVC's. I had a stress test and even though it took only minutes for my heart to get to 160, my doctor didn't seem concerned. I want to keep working out, but the fact that my heart stays a bit high after a workout makes me really worried. Please give me some insight. I just want to get healthy.
