\r\n \r\n What I am about to ask I also plan to ask my doctor in 2 week when I have my yearly checkup

\nSince 2005 I have been living a very sedentary life due to many physical problems starting at my feet (flat feet ) ankles (arthritis ) knees and shoulder, neck all arthritis due to multiple surgeries.
\n
\nSo for the most part I have to trade off pain for anything I do, if I want to go somewhere and do something I know that I will pay with pain. For this reason I have been living a very sedentary life since 2005. I have been sleeping in a recliner since 2000 because I can\'t sleep on a bed without waking up with a stiff neck and muscles spasms and sever pain
\n
\nWhen I want to do something I know I will get tired fast, sweat-and sometimes get lightheaded.
\n
\nI am under doctors care for every issue I have but lately I have felt more fatigued and when I do the littlest thing I get the feeling of being so tired and weak.
\n
\nI have always told myself that if I just sit around my whole life of course I will feel this way when I try to do anything physical.
\n
\nI guess my question is should I be concerned with my heart health ???
\n
\nRemember I will talk to my doctor about this in 2 week but I wanted to get some other views from people who have dealt with heart issues.

\r\n \r\n I am 56 and weigh about 235, use to weigh 356 when I was in my 30\'s so have been a battle most my life. Due to my many health issues any kind of exercise is tough for me.

\nI know it would be good for me but the pain I live with is tough enough already without adding things that will just make my pain worse.
\n
\nI like the swimming I idea but with bad knees and shoulder that is even very tough for me.

\nHave you tried any more natural remedies for inflammation that may cause pain in your muscles and joints, such as Turmeric or MSM (Methylsulphonylmethane)? Magnesium Citrate or Malate is also good for muscle relaxation and general health. Mag Oil is good topically for muscle spasms/cramps.

Without going into my entire health on the web I will say that I have several health issues that I am under doctors care for and have been for 20 years. All my issues are considered under control with meds, I know this from my labs each time they are checked.
\n
\nI am also under the care of a doctor for my chronic pain, I have had many surgeries and as a result am left with many of my joints with Arthritis. I have neck and back disc problems and many other issues too many to go into. I have sever flat feet and arthritis in my ankles, left shoulder, neck from fusion and have several herniated discs
\n
\nWith all of these problems exercise is something that is difficult to do in fact just walking causes me sever pain. I have lived a sedentary life for over 10 years now do to my chronic pain and I know that when you do nothing and then you try to do something your body is going to feel like it is fatigued.
\n
\nI guess I will just talk to my doctor in a few weeks and see what he thinks. I appreciate everyone\'s input but it is hard to help anyone medically online because you have to know everything and of course it all can\'t be told online.
\nI know my heart health is very important and I guess I was just trying to get an idea that if I lived a sedentary life would it be normal to feel as I do when I do the littlest things.

\nYou\'re right that it\'s difficult to list everything online. Have you had any chest pain or tightening or heavy feeling in the center of your chest? Or fluid retention in your feet or legs? If so, be sure to mention that.

\nWithout knowing what conditions you are already taking meds to control, I\'ll throw out a few conditions that a sedentary lifestyle can cause over time and cause you to feel fatigued. Perhaps this can help you with your list of questions to ask your doctor & what course of action to take.

\r\n \r\n The first thing I would ask of my doctor (if I was you) would be to include a 25 hydroxy vitamin D test in the regular blood work. This is crutial. If the doctor doesn\'t seem interested in this test, then you have the wrong doctor.
\n
\nSince you have joint issues, fatigue, and arthritis all over, I would also ask that he include checking calcium and magnesium levels as well.
\n
\nThe next step I would do if I were you would be to go to youtube and search doctor Joel Wallach videos. I would watch them all, starting with "dead doctors don\'t lie" and would pay close attention to what he says concerning minerals.

\nMeds are meant to be temporary, not permanent, since they only help with the symptoms. They do not fix the cause, nor do they repair the damage, and they all have severe side effects especially when used long term.\r\n

\r\n \r\n Personally for what you have I would run from a doctor, not go to one. He will put you on dangerous drugs and although he may give a name to your disease he will not be able to tell you what causes your disease and because he cannot tell you what causes your disease he will not be able to give you anything or make any recommendations to cure your disease.

Default Can someone please answer a few questions about heart health

What I am about to ask I also plan to ask my doctor in 2 week when I have my yearly checkup

Since 2005 I have been living a very sedentary life due to many physical problems starting at my feet (flat feet ) ankles (arthritis ) knees and shoulder, neck all arthritis due to multiple surgeries.

So for the most part I have to trade off pain for anything I do, if I want to go somewhere and do something I know that I will pay with pain. For this reason I have been living a very sedentary life since 2005. I have been sleeping in a recliner since 2000 because I can't sleep on a bed without waking up with a stiff neck and muscles spasms and sever pain

When I want to do something I know I will get tired fast, sweat-and sometimes get lightheaded.

I am under doctors care for every issue I have but lately I have felt more fatigued and when I do the littlest thing I get the feeling of being so tired and weak.

I have always told myself that if I just sit around my whole life of course I will feel this way when I try to do anything physical.

I guess my question is should I be concerned with my heart health ???

Remember I will talk to my doctor about this in 2 week but I wanted to get some other views from people who have dealt with heart issues.
