Default Is Brain Made up of Cholesterol Or Omega 3 Acids?

I heard Dr. Coldwell mention that the brain is made up of about 98% cholesterol. Is this is true, wouldn't cholesterol from good wholesome sources be more important to your brain health than omega 3 fatty acids?

Of course, i understand omega 3's are great for you and we should take both, but I'm just curious about cholesterol vs omega 3 fatty acids.

My understanding is that cholesterol is the primary fat in the brain. Both are important as you know. The big benefit of omega 3's is their anti-inflammatory effect in the body. Children with ADHD or Autism are often low in omega's which affects their brain activity.

Eat plenty of grass-fed eggs with yolks and cod liver oil or wild salmon from a source that is not polluted.

And my understanding is that you don't get cholesterol from food sources which contain cholesterol. The body only uses the cholesterol as created by the liver. It is best to keep the liver in good working order and manage the cholesterol by the use of antioxidants. Oxidized cholesterol is damaging. Lecithin supplementation would be good too.
