The question is how many obese people did saved1986 see in portugal? They simple did not exist.

Because they walk Everywhere?! And they probably eat less meat.
And may drink more Wine? And eat fewer Big Macs?

They walk more, they do not snack, they drink a fair amount. I saw one McDs and asked the guy in the hotel lobby if he went there. He said 2-3 times a yr. Unfortuantely, I saw a starbucks. I hate starbucks. The coffee there was awesome (Portugese coffee, not starbucks). They eat a lot more seafood.
