Default Here are the latest bird flu droppings

Ran across this in todays paper. Here are the latest bird flu droppings. According to health officials those who take Tamiflu should be closely monitored for signs of abnormal behavior. The precaution comes after reports of more then 100 new (?) cases of delirium, hallucinations and other unusual psychiatric behavior in children. The FDA said that a direct relationship between the drug and the abnormal behavior has not been established however the new warning was intended to mitigate a potential risk.

The drug manufacture also said that there was no evidence the drug caused the rarely accruing adverse events.

The manufacture and the FDA both said that severe cases of the flu could have caused the abnormal behavior and that stopping treatment with Tamiflu could actually harm patients if the virus is the cause of the abnormal behavior.

[We didnt do anything it is all the viruss fault.]

Yeah, Mad Sci, I had the same thoughts about this. :x
