I like making up my own workout routines such as bending my knees going down as far as I can to the floor and pushing back up. Repeating this really makes me sore but it requires nothing to do, which means you can do it anywhere without equipment and it really improves my quality of life. There are many work outs like this. Remember, if it doesn't hurt, your probably not working out right. Get creative! Thats how you can have fun while working out, and its stuff you can do even at work, or while your not doing anything!

Hi supergirlkara, welcome to the forum! You're right, a lot of those exercises can be done at work (or while you're not doing anything, LOL). I used to do the squats like you mentioned, very effective. Also body presses leaning on a counter or rail, and just raising up on your tiptoes in repetative sets is really felt in the calf muscles. Isometrics can be done anywhere too, like holding in your stomach muscles for a certain count and then releasing.

Thanks I have to try those things. Being a programmer and a computer junkie I have to find ways to do this stuff from the comfort of my computer room, and in the spare snippets of time I get throughout the day. Thanks for noticing I am new to the forum. I am trying to contribute the best I can. Cheers!
