Default Greetings from St Maarten (cinnamon tea for diabetes)

Having a good time abusing my liver. Anyway, I took a taxi this morning to a grocery store to get things that are hard to find in the states. I was conversing with my 65 yr old driver and he pulls out a small glass bottle. He said it was cinnamon tea (using the sticks, not the powder). He said he was diabetic and that the cinnamon tea and drinking a little olive oil every day keeps it under control. He originally is from barbados and he mentioned a doc he knows there told him to do it. he said many docs in barbadoes go the herbal tea route instead of medicines.

I usually have cinnamon powder and honey on my breakfast, but the cinnamon and olive oil tea sounds good I might give that a try, when I can get some cinnamon sticks.
Thanks for that saved1986.
