Default Career Change

I am interested in a career change into Dentistry. I have been an Instructor for 3 years. I wanted to know what is the career path after Dental Assistance or Dental Hygienist. I am not sure which way I should go. I know the difference between the two, I evenually what to become a Dentist. I am just not sure if I should begin at being a Dental assistance or Hygienist. Does it make a differnce?

Make sure that you know what the pre-requisites are for being accepted into the programs, what the time committment will be and what you want. Then go for it.

You will find that the education level and course requirements to apply for Hygience school, or dental school may be very different, and as would be the curriculum and time required to graduate from the programs.

Cost to complete must be considered, as well as what you want to do for a career.

Hope this helps.
